Monitoring progress against commitments

GHD Indicators

In 2004 the GHD initiative implementation group agreed that it would produce a set of indicators to monitor collective progress against the GHD objectives. In 2005 it commissioned Development Initiatives to establish a baseline case and to test the collective indicators on the 2004 data. Their report is available herePDF document or, for further information, visit: External linkhttp://www.globalhumanitarianassistance.org/GHD.htm.

In 2007, the GHDI agreed to refine and expand the set of indicators. You can see these here 2007 Revised GHD Indicators.xlsExcel document. Development Initiatives will be publishing a report on the collective progress oF GHD donors in the autumn 2007. Their report will be available here.

In 2006, the Development Assistance Committee of the OECD confirmed that its members' management of humanitarian assistance would remain subject to its peer review process. You can view the External linkDAC peer review website here.
